Common Myths About Customer Complaints
1. If customers don't complain, we're doing a great job. Don't count on it... studies show that only 4 out of 100 unhappy customers will complain.
2. Losing one customer won't hurt us. One unhappy customer is likey to share his or her dissatisfaction with at least 10 other people - making them less likely to be customers in the future.
3. If we make it hard to complain, we won't be bothered by petty problems. True - But smart organizations let customer know that they're willing to deal with any complaint. Complaining customers are often the most caring customers.
